Julia Oleeta Bolinger, 97, died April 16, 2012 at the Prairie Sunset Home.

She was born Dec. 13, 1914, at Watts, Oklahoma the daughter of Thomas Monroe and Sophia Elizabeth Williams Childreth. A longtime resident of Pretty Prairie, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the UMW, and the Pretty Prairie Study Club, all of Pretty Prairie. She also was a Sunday School teacher.

On Nov. 14, 1935, she married the Rev. R. Herbert Bolinger at Wichita; he died May 28, 1998. Survivors include daughter Judy Markel and her husband Ed; grandchildren Connie and Tommy Rumford, Liz Shepherd, Daryl and Lynette Markel and Aimee and Mike Jones; 14 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
